    “Being a born and bred Myrtleford boy, I have a true love for the area and its surrounds. Over the years, I have developed a great repore with many of my patients and gain great satisfaction when they have the confidence to refer family and friends to our practice.”

    Since graduating in 1995, Damien has gone from working in the hospital system to starting his own business, then watching it grow into a high class podiatry group servicing Wangaratta, Benalla and Yarrawonga and surrounds. Seeing a patient walk out pain free is one of the best parts of his job.

After the birth of my two gorgeous girls, I have developed a interest in Paediatrics and enjoy treating all ages.” A graduate of Charles Sturt University, Alyce completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Podiatry) with Honours, and our communities are getting the benefits of her knowledge! Born and bred in Benalla, Alyce loves the country, the people and the lifestyle, so being able to look after your feet is her way of supporting the locals.

  • Andrew Carter

    OWNER/PODIATRIST

    Andy graduated from La Trobe University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Podiatry where he then moved to Torquay and began working in private practice servicing anything from athletes to general podiatry care.

    In 2014 Andy moved home to Albury and began working at North East Podiatry where he has an interest in all aspects of podiatry, especially enjoying running and biomechanical assessments.

    Outside of work Andy loves spending time with his family and friends, skiing and travelling whenever possible!

  • Lainey Heale

    OWNER/PODIATRIST

    “I feel so privileged to be a part of such a vibrant, warm and supportive team here at North East Podiatry.” Originally from a farm in rural Victoria, Lainey moved to Albury NSW to complete her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine with Honors at Charles Sturt University. Lainey began working as a full time practitioner with North East Podiatry during 2017 in our Benalla and Wangaratta clinics. Lainey is driven to provide quality up to date and holistic treatment options to feet of all shapes and sizes in the North East region, with a keen interest in podiatric research and diabetic foot health.

    Outside of work, Lainey enjoys travelling, hiking with her 2 dogs and catching up with loved ones.

  • Jayke Nicholson

    OWNER/PODIATRIST

    Jayke is passionate about providing quality care and has a real interest in diabetic care, sporting and running related injuries as well as creating great connections with his patients.

    Outside of work life you'll find Jayke barracking at the TV supporting his much-loved Brisbane Lions or his adorable dog Poppy and spending time in the community with friends and family.

  • Nathan McLean

    PODIATRIST

    Nathan come to the clinic around mid 2020, to help us out on a casual basis. He was so good with the patients and staff, that we offered him a full time position at the start of 2021 and we've not looked back. He loves his sports, especially Footy, Racing and Basketball, but is happy to speak to you about anything and everything. He enjoys a large range of different case loads from general care to nail surgeries.

  • Marnie Egan

    PODIATRIST

    Originally from Mansfield, Marnie completed her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine in 2018. With the majority of her days working out of the Wangaratta office, she enjoys a wide range of Podiatry patients. Outside of Podiatry, Marnie is an excellent Horse wrangler, competing in local camp drafting competitions.

  • Sarah O'Brien

    PODIATRIST

    Sarah started working for us in early 2023, she has previously worked in Albury, Corowa and Bendigo. Sarah is originally from Albury and completed her Bachelor of Podiatry Medicine at Charles Sturt in 2019.

    Sarah is passionate about all aspects of Podiatry care with a special interest in Diabetic foot management and paediatrics.

    Outside of work Sarah enjoys exercising, travelling and catching up with family and friends.

  • Will Nolan

    PODIATRIST

    Will started working for us in early 2023, he was previously based in Shepparton. Will is born and breed in Wangaratta, and completed his Bachelor of Podiatry Medicine at Charles Sturt in 2021.

    Will enjoys all aspects of Podiatry care with a special interest in biomechanics, diabetic foot assessments and nail surgeries.

    Outside of work Will plays for the Wang Rovers during the winter and waterskis at Bundalong during the summer. He enjoys time outside with friends and family as well as reading a good book.

  • Georgie Waite

    PODIATRIST

    Georgie completed her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Charles Sturt University in 2018, and then relocated to Darwin, NT to work in the High Risk Foot Clinic. In 2022, Georgie moved home to Wangaratta and started working here at North East Podiatry.

    Georgie enjoys all areas of podiatry, however has a keen interest in diabetic foot care and high risk feet. When not at work, Georgie loves to travel and explore North East Victoria with her partner, as well as spend time with loved ones.

  • Lexie Sandral

    PODIATRIST

    Lexie completed her Bachelor of Podiatry in 2012. She enjoys working in a great team environment who share a passion for patient care. Lexie has strong interests in general podiatry and biomechanics, and she takes pride in being able to make an immediate impact on people’s lives helping them regain comfort and mobility.

    Lexie lives in Mulwala with her husband and two children attending school in the area.
